Chicago #80!!!: Singles-F, a friggin’ eye-opening F. I knew it! The ratio is totaly whacked here. Less men, more women. Social Life-D, now wait a minute, they are totally not right about that one. Emotional Health-B, not from where I stand. I think this should be a C at least. There are a lot of unhappy people here, especially recently. Marriage-D, not that I believe. And Divorce-B (really?). And the “Romantic Hotspot” is “Avenues”, which is at the Peninsula Hotel. People who actually live here don’t really hang out at hotels. Only tourists do that, so I totally disagree on that one.

I realize this is an old post, but I just found this blog and love it!

Portland, OR is #21, … but marriage is an F. Looks like I may not be as lucky as I thought. Seattle (#4) isn’t too far away, I may have to start making more trips up there… Keep up the good work with this whole adventure, I love reading about it! I’m the only single lady out of the 3 chicks blog that I take part in, so I love reading about and discussing the single life’s difficulties!

Valerie, so glad to hear from you! Sneak peek: Seattle ranked #2 in the book. I love that city and its men.
